Looking For Margin…

In Need Of a Break - Bloomingdale's Shopping Time

I know it’s early in the year, but it’s already been stacked and I’m actively looking for margin to bake into my workloads and days. Can I just skip the meetings and computers and technology today? And the building and strategy and organizing and project management and brain use?

Some days, no matter how much we love what we do (hello 13 year entrepreversary coming in April!), we still need space and rest from it.

And… apparently, Americans are 10% happier on Friday just based on the expectation of margin that lies ahead. Our attitudes actually improve just thinking about the weekend break.

Huh. Let that sink in for a second.

Well, I guess that’s me – this week especially. The brain has hit capacity and when I can’t contain another thought it’s time to rest.

Can I just whisk myself away to the Big Apple for a day of shopping and city watching?

Can’t I?

And if so, WHO’S COMING WITH ME??
